Assessment

How you're assessed

Assessment is portfolio-based, there are no written exams. You compile a professional practice portfolio including observed teaching records, lesson plans, self-evaluations, assignments, and reflective journal entries. Each unit has a detailed brief with marking criteria and worked examples so you always understand what is expected.

Tutor feedback is returned within 2 working days on every submission. You can refine and resubmit work where the initial submission does not meet the required standard. A minimum number of observed and assessed teaching practice hours is required, your tutor will confirm the current requirement at enrolment.

Assessments are submitted through your online learner dashboard. Final certification follows internal quality assurance and external verification by TQUK.
